For three years in 1979, 1980, and 1981, Bülent Arkman actively taught a specialized programming course, the first of its kind in Turkey, training new software developers for the industry. From that year on, Arkman Computer developed software for travel agencies, and by 2007, its software had become a pioneer in the industry, with more than 700 travel agencies using it.
Between 1979 and 1984, Arkman developed all the custom software for İPRAGAZ, MOBİL, VAKKO, MUTLU AKÜ, SHERATON HOTEL ISTANBUL, and CENNET HOTEL SİDE.
Bülent Arkman, who developed the first INCOMING software in Turkey in 1979, sold the custom software written for Penta Dış Ticaret to Switzerland in 1984 and launched it there.
The Ticket Back Office and Current Account software, first developed in Turkey and the world in 1978, is now preferred by more than 1,200 travel agencies, seven of which are located abroad.
Arkman's Ticket and Current Account Software, which began integrating with GALILEO in 1999, AMADEUS in 2000, and ATLAS JET in 2006, has achieved another first in Turkey.
Today, it integrates with all airlines, all GDSs, İDO, Biletbank, IATI, and Biletall systems, providing significant convenience for travel agencies. Arkman Ticket and Current Account Package has been taught as a one-semester course in Sakarya and Anadolu Universities Tourism Associate Degree Programs since 1999.

The Tourism Operations Package, first introduced in 1982 under the name OPER, was introduced in 2006 under the name COPER05, running on an MSSQL database, for the tourism sector. Arkman Software, a pioneer in the market, has also introduced another first with COPER05, a single package for INCOMING, OUTGOING, ICT, CONGRESS, SEMINAR, and INDIVIDUAL SALES. This package's most significant feature is that it comes with the Arkman Current Account package, which works online.
The Coper05 package also allows agencies to track visa records, while invoicing steps can be controlled from a single screen, providing significant convenience.
In addition to these software packages, Arkman Software has also played a significant role in the easy-to-use ARKMAN ACCOUNTING 5s official accounting package for the tourism sector, playing a significant role in the sector's rapid automation.
Arkman Software also offers numerous travel agencies a wide range of software solutions, integrating with other accounting software (Logo, Netsis, Mega, Eta, etc.) for ticketing and current account programs, simplifying their workflow and facilitating the transition to automation.
Arkman Software has provided and continues to provide consulting services not only with software but also with travel agencies across all their needs, treating them not as customers but as family members.
Arkman Software trains its software and support staff on software and computer systems, as well as the operations and business details of travel agencies, which are family members. This training trains professionals who can assist travel agencies.
